Group Coverage
Each year we see thousands of schools organize Senior Trips around the world - Europe, Jamaica and dozens of other wonderful destinations. When the care of minors is involved, it is vital to make sure that adequate emergency care is available for each child.
Don't rely on waivers...require all participants to carry the coverage that ensures help will be there when they (and you) need it. The last phone call you (the trip organizer) want to make when an accident occurs is to a parent at 3:00 a.m. (time zone differences) in the middle of an emergency and before things are under control. Don't wait to discover that the child's medical coverage is through their parent's HMO plan which won't pay because the child is "out of network".
Why risk inadequate protection when the cost of international medical insurance is only $2 per person / per day. A coverage card for each person traveling will be mailed to the trip organizer along with a copy of the group policy.
Domestic Student Accident coverage DOES NOT cover your students when they travel outside of the US. You need International Medical and Emergency Coverage.
